Miniature Cyprus Flag

Silk-like flags measure 4" x 6"  and are securely attached to 10" black staffs topped with gilt spears.  All four sides are sewn.  Bright colors.  They are perfect for everything from long term desk display to parade and celebration giveaways.

The flag of Cyprus has a short but interesting history.  The flag has been modified at least three times and there is a small but dedicated movement that wants to change it again! The current flag features green olive branches, meant to symbolize peace between the people and governments of Greece and Turkey.The orange is said to symbolize the large amounts of copper ore which is found in Cyprus.
